Electrician Invoice App ("we", "us") provides a free web app for solo tradespeople to quote, schedule, invoice, and get paid for jobs. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

1. Information we collect

Account info. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We don't get your Google password.

Business info. Business name, address, phone, license number, tax rate, and logo — whatever you enter in your profile/settings.

Customer data you enter. Names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses of your own customers, so you can send them quotes and invoices.

Job data. Quotes, jobs, invoices, line items, photos you upload, and payment status you record.

Feedback. Bug reports or suggestions you submit through the in-app feedback form.

Basic usage data. Which pages are viewed and referrer, to understand how people find the app. No third-party analytics or ad trackers.

2. How we use it

• To run the app: create quotes/invoices, send emails on your behalf, show your dashboard.
• To send transactional emails (quote sent, invoice sent, payment reminders) via our email provider.
• To respond to feedback or support requests.
• To enforce free-plan usage limits (active jobs / customers / invoices per month).

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Google — for sign-in (OAuth).
• Resend — our email provider, used to deliver quote/invoice emails to your customers.
• Stripe — if/when online payment collection is enabled, Stripe processes payment details directly; we don't store card numbers.

We don't share data with anyone else, and we don't sell it to data brokers or advertisers.

4. Where it's stored

Your data is stored on our servers (OVHcloud, Canada) in a MySQL database. Uploaded photos/files are stored on the same server. We use HTTPS for all traffic.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no third-party ad or tracking cookies.

6. Your customers' data

If you're a tradesperson using this app, you enter your customers' contact details so you can quote/invoice them. You're responsible for having the right to store and use their information — treat it the way you'd want your own customer data treated.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you want your account and data deleted, email us and we'll remove it, except where we need to keep records for legal/accounting reasons.

8. Children

This app is intended for business use by adults running a trade business. It's not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
